He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Piercefield and Margaret Henderson Piercefield; his daughter Beth Piercefield; and his siblings, Frances, Betty, Dorothy Piercefield, Thelma Britton, Margaret Wells, Marshall, Robert, Harry and Ted Piercefield.
He is survived by: his children, Xzondra Edwards (Charles) of San Antonio, Lori Jackson of Kokomo, Jack "Andy" Piercefield (Lisa) of Columbus and Mary Jarrard (Bob) of Columbus; his stepchildren, Ellen Nash (David) of Columbus and Bradley Ault of Buffalo; and his sister Juanita Adkins of Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society, First United Methodist Church or Golden K Kiwanis Club.
