James O. Cornett Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of James O. Cornett of Columbus, Indiana. James, born on January 19, 1937, passed away on June 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Cornett and Flora Miller Cornett; and his siblings, Evadean Elkins, Lois Halcomb and Dennis Cornett, Jr..

He is survived by: his daughter Candie Michas (Kelly Kerin) of Fairfield Township, Ohio; his granddaughters, Sophia Michas (Austin Hopkins) and Abigail Michas (Aiden Hollingsworth); his sister Maelean Pack; and his close friend Elaine Steele of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
