We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2025, at the age of 89, Janet C. Mace of Columbus, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet C. Mace to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Dale and Hazel McNiece Walker; and her husband John M. Mace. She is survived by: her children, Denise Hammitt (Mark) of Columbus, Kathy Davidson (Tim) of Columbus and Dan Mace (Loveta) of Columbus; her grandchildren, Megan Moore (Scott), Kelly Cole (Aaron), Logan Brown (Justice), Sara Davidson, Tom Davidson (Emily Steele), Seth Sanders (Emily), Chelsea Bane (Brent), Mallory Richardson (Jimmy) and Mackenzie Sanchez (Lucas); and her brother Gordon Walker of Indianapolis. She is also survived by fifteen great-grand children.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201).
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indian, St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
