He was predeceased by : his parents, James Lamphire and Cora Weber Lamphire; his wife Linda; his great grandchild Bryson Lee Dobson; and his siblings, James, Billy, Roscoe Lamphire and Judy Brown.

He is survived by : his children, Kattie Dobson (Timothy) of Columbus, Jerry Lee Lamphire of Bedford and Thomas Lamphire of Columbus. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
