With solemn reverence, we commemorate Joe Tom Atkins (Columbus, Indiana), whose life came to an end on April 15, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest H. Atkins and Georgia Imel Atkins. He is survived by : his spouse Jean Maddox Atkins; his sons, Tom Atkins (Audrey) of Bloomfield Hills, Michael Atkins (Lynn) of Okemos, Daniel Atkins of Columbus and Joseph Atkins (Heather) of Charlottesville, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Jason, David, Carey, Meghan, Jenny and Michael; his great grandchildren, Hope, Helen, Maggie and Henry; and his children, Maddie, Lauren, Joe, Drew, Charlie, Evie, Millie, Benjamin and Delilah. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Four Seasons Chapel (1901 Taylor Rd, Columbus, IN 47203). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in honor of Joe to any charity serving the community of Columbus.
