We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2020, at the age of 91, John B. Schutz of Columbus, Indiana, born in Camargo, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nikoles Schutz and Nellie Pearl Schutz (Taylor); his wife Ruth Aldridge; his daughter June Simmons; his sister Lena Goff; and his grandson Sean Simmons.

He is survived by: his children, Jan Devine (Mike) of Rock Falls and Mike Schutz (Pat Reilly) of Columbus, IN. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He has been in our prayers since we moved from Columbus to Indianapolis and will be missed by us. He talked so very nice about you folks and loved you with a passion that I know will live on forever.
