He was predeceased by: his father John Robert Grider, Sr.; his sister Diane Sparks; his grandson Kaiden Blanquiz; and his great grandchild Jaxson Bryant. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Mae Webb Grider, Jr. of North Vernon; his children, Angela Blanquiz (Phillip), John "Bobby" Grider III (Paige) of Columbus and Jason Grider of Columbus; his grandchildren, Devin Grider, Jordon Bryant, Riley Wright, Fancy McFerron and Kannon Blanquiz; and his sisters, Julia Dickmeyer (Gary) of Nashville and Barbara Sue Rayl (Steve) of Norman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
