With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John A. Harris of Columbus, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on November 21, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin Harris and Hattie Fish Harris; his son Kenneth Raymond Pursiful; his granddaughter Lindsey Greenlee; and his sister Faith Jacobs.
He is survived by: his wife Diana; and his children, Karen Lynn Greenlee of Columbus, Lisa Dickey (Todd) of Columbus, Rick Harris (Angel) of Bedford, Kimberly Rose Kirk of Greensburg and Theresa Bailey (Robert) of Harrison. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). The military honors was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
