He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Skinner and Clyde Geneva Buckmaster Skinner; his wife Janice Elaine Magorian; his children, John Vernon Skinner, Jr. (Pearl) of Milwaukee and Elizabeth Grant (Scott) of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Renee King (Brian), Michael Skinner, Brian Skinner (Michelle), Andrew Skinner, Mandy Duffy (Mick) and Cristy Riley (Tom); and his great grandchildren, Austin King, Claire Duffy, Molly Duffy, John Duffy, Cora Duffy, Kiernan Riley, Maxwell Riley and Charlotte Riley.
