She was predeceased by: her siblings, Tommy Brand and Glorianne Muldoon; and her former husband Dr. Jerry Bates. She is survived by: her son Gregory Bennett (Vicki) of Nashville, IN; her grandsons, Greg Bennett and Mike Bennett (Jessica); her nephews, Russell Muldoon (Cathy) of Greenfield and Gary Muldoon (Terri); and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
