We bid farewell to Katherine L. Wilhelm of Columbus, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 3, 2025 at the age of 63. Katherine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert J. Chasteen and Martha Jane Calhoun Chasteen; her nieces, Lindsey Perez (Ryan) of Westfield, Nikki Weddell (Nate O'Sullivan) of Freetown and Nancy Dunlap (Charlie) of Rensselaer; her sister-in-law Cindy Wilhelmi (John) of Columbus; her siblings, Albert G. Taylor, Nancy Chasteen and Marcia J. Durham; and her friend Eleanor Clear.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In memory of Katherine memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to Canine Castaways Rescue.
