He is survived by: his wife Jill Bird of Bloomington; his siblings, Lisa Tincher (Jeff), Marcus Bird (Nancy Blum) of Santa Barbara and Jan; his brother-in-law Mark Bapst of Dune Acres, Indiana; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren Hackert (David), Caitilin Johns (Lee), Benjamin Bird (Lora Iliev) of San Diego, Shana Bird (Conner Sharpe) of Sunnyvale, Mark Bapst (Blanca Torres-Olave) of Chicago and Morgan Bapst of Seoul. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
