He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Delphine Ault Exner and James Exner; and his sons, Brian Exner and Anthony "Tony" Exner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Herr of Columbus; his children, Kelly Moore (Jay) of Columbus and Greg Exner (Jane) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Megan of Columbus and Jordan Moore of Columbus; and his half-brother Roy Faulkner.
