It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Ann Payer (Columbus, Indiana), who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura Ann Payer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Daugherty and Helen Koemel Daugherty; her husband Jim Payer Sr.; and her daughter Stephanie DeSilva. She is survived by: her sons, Todd Kelso and Jim Payer Jr. (Lori); her granddaughters, Rebecca DeSilva (Carla) and Ishelle Payer; her great grandchildren, Aniyah and Arianna DeSilva; and her brothers, Fred Daugherty (Bobbi), Hugh Daugherty (Connie) and Bill Daugherty (Nancy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Memorial Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Laura's name are suggested to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, American Cancer Society, or the Parkinson's Foundation.
