He was predeceased by: his parents, Lex Hinds and Cloria Conaster Hinds; and his sisters, Fayetta Hinds and Virginia Cravens Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Faye Gunter; his children, Robert Hinds of Columbus and Choniti Roberts (Mike) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Brilynn Barron (Eric), Jessica Hinds (Spencer Wayt), Allison Roberts (Gavin), Caleb Roberts and Bradley Hinds (Miranda Burton); his great grandchildren, Piper Hinds, Nova Warren, Brody Hinds and Emersyn Barron; his brother Joe Hinds (Valentina) of Nabb, Indiana; and his close friend Tomas Medina of Fairland, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Healthy Community Church (11910 E State Rd 58, Columbus, IN 47201). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Healthy Community Church.
