She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Stroud and Wilma J. Stroud (Ratliff); her daughter Jane Vanus; her stepdaughter Teresa Mercer; her brothers, Don Stroud and Harold Stroud; and her granddaughter Hannah Spencer.
She is survived by: her husband Dave Richards; her children, John Mercer and Julie Seaford; her stepchildren, Tim Mercer and Tammy Brassard; and her siblings, Ken Stroud and Linda Miller. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
