He was predeceased by: his parents, Elva Staley and Nora Spencer Staley; and his brothers, Lewis, Charles and Steven Staley.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Cunningham; his children, Kevin Staley (Cheryl) of Columbus, Brian Staley of Oklahoma and Samantha Staley of Columbus; his grandchildren, Taylor Spates, Chris Pratt and Alexa Staley; and his great grandchildren, Isiah Smallwood, Evelyn Spates, Adelyn Moss, Kaison Spates, Caden Pratt, Shaley Smallwood, Oliver Staley and Finn Staley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Lung Association-COPD Research.
