He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Loester and Violet Mae Powell; and his former wife Phyllis Powell. He is survived by: his wife Joan Powell; his sons, Jason (Kendra), Chris (Kari) and Matt Powell (Holly); his stepchildren, Melissa Jacques (Jim), RJ Sturgeon (Christie) and Kellie Galbraith (William); his siblings, James Powell (Beth) and Bonita Hall (John); and his nephew Troy Hall. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
