She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Smith and Dorothy Smith; her former husband Bob Smith; and her sister Patricia "Pat" Nanney Schnier. She is survived by: her daughter Suzzette Holmes (Smith); her grandchildren, Dr. Jeffrey Holmes (Roxana Bonnell), Amy Holmes and Emily Holmes; her sibling's children, Kevin Nanney and Melissa Schmidt; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Schmidt and Vanessa Schmidt. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Hospice of Central Indiana in gratitude for their compassionate care.
