She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. W. Cress Sr. and Letha May Poer Cress; her husband Hugh W. Ford; her children, Rex Ford of Scipio and Rita Ford of Columbus; her grandchildren, Kristen Hurley (Matt) of Columbus and Joshua Ford of Bloomington; her great grandchild Grant Hurley; and her brothers, Robert Cress II and Fred Cress.
She is survived by: her siblings, Paul Cress (Cathy) of Greenwood, Beverly Cress of Columbus and David Cress (Sadie) of Columbus.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Community Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Riley Hospital for Children.
