He is survived by: his wife Patsy Jean Coots; his daughters, Stacey Harry (Todd) of Elizabethtown, Dana Bissey of Bloomington, Laura Gudgel (Lee) of Seymour, Jennifer Coy (Andrew Gudgel) of Seymour and Angela Reynold of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Alyssa Sweet (Chris), Kieara Reynolds, Cassandra Reynolds, Megan Reynolds, Justin Gudgel, Kimberly Gudgel, Cooper Harry, Loreann Vickers (Dereck), Connor Harry and Stephanie Knight (Nick); his great grandchildren, Anastacia McDonald, Bailey Mays, Silas King, Soren Knight and Sawyer Vickers; his siblings, John Bissey (Sherry) of Texas and Hope Ault (Ted) of Sanborn, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Elaine Bissey of Texas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St (1029 Washington St, Columbus, IN 47201). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
