Peggy Jo Lowman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Jo Lowman of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Rutan and Leona Grace Downey Rutan; her husband Garrel L. Lowman; her sister Doris Bennett; and her nephews, Eric Lowman and John M. Bennett.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Reel of Elizabethtown; her grandchildren, Alonza Brown (David) of Columbus, Melody Petro of Columbus and Justin Petro (Julia) of Columbus; her great grandchildren, Callee Fredericksen (Bryce), Raven Rathburn, Aiden De Haven, Makaela West, Wade Petro and Jenna Petro; her great great grandchildren, Xavier Fredericksen, Leona Lashly and Lula Fredericksen; and her sisters, Betty Fish of Texas, Nancy Peaslee of Newburn and Rebecca Tibbs (Kevin) of Hope. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The inurnment will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christiansburg Cemetery (7372 S Christianburg Rd, Columbus, IN 47201).
