With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis Blair of Columbus, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fortner and Anna Fortner (Mack); her spouse Coy E. Blair; her siblings, William, Charles Fortner, Virginia Booher, Edith Bishop, Geneva Monday, Lucille Redicker, Stella Kirchner and Sue Horton; and her son-in-law Bob Ellis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Losey (Jim) of North Vernon and Tina Ellis (Matt Jeffries) of North Vernon; her sisters, Ellen Moore of North Vernon and Sandy Summerfield (Mike Root) of North Vernon; and her grandchildren, Joe Hawkins (Jenn Romero) of Hayden, Shelly Butler (Justin) of Hayden, Katie Hawkins (Josh Salinas) of Columbus, David Ellis (Beau) of North Vernon, Kayla Zimmerman (Alex) of North Vernon, Toyce Cord (Josh) of Shelbyville and Nick Losey of Fox Island, Washington. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in honor of Phyllis through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Love Chapel of Columbus.
