With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Clayton Helt of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on November 22, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul "Pert" Helt and Thelma "Sally" McClure Helt; and his grandson Dustin Conover. He is survived by: his wife Winnie of Columbus; his children, Randall "Randy" Helt of Indianapolis, Angela "Angie" Pate (Terry) of O'Fallon, IL, Karen Conover (Kim) of Waldron and Andrea "Andi" Roberts (Scott) of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Danny Pate, Christina Pate, Steve Pate (Kristi) and Madi Roberts; his great grandchildren, Axel Conover, Reese Pate, Elliott Pate and Ryker Wagner; and his brother Gerald Helt (Judy) of Scipio.
Memorial contributions may be donated to Elizabethtown United Methodist Church, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or Bartholomew County Humane Society.
