It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Perry of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur'Red'Perry Perry and Mary Viola Perry; his daughter Katherine A. Miller; his great-nephews, Dakota and Dominic Ketner; his sister Judith; and his brother-in-law Paul Ketner.
He is survived by: his wife Anita M. Fortmeyer; his sons, Daniel "Mack" Perry (Erica) and Joshua Lain Perry (Jessica); his grandchildren, Blaine, Taylor, Dustin, Chelsea, Alec, Jack, Lillian and Emma; his nieces and nephews, Michael, Steve Ketner, Kristin Lykins, James, Sam Guthrie, Christie Hicks and Mat Stratta; his sisters-in-law, Susan Grow, Elizabeth Thomas and Patricia Burns; his son-in-law Bob Miller; and his cousins, Marilyn Hinton, Sandy and Tim Huffman.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church- Alaska Mission, Our Hospice South Central Indiana, and Orphan Grain Train.
