He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D. Marvin and Mary M. Fields Marvin; and his brother Steve Marvin. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn M. Owens; his children, John Morey Laswell (Rhonda) of Columbus and Amie Muncy (Danny) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Nathan Laswell (Erin), Emma Laswell, Shelby Harsh and Parker Harsh; and his sister Brenda McConnell (Tim). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
