He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth Brunson; and his parents, John Brunson and Caroline Brunson. He is survived by: his wife Anna Faye Brunson; his sons, John Brunson (Kate), Lester A. Gates (Shirley), Darwin Gates (Diana) and Daniel Gates (Sherry); his grandchildren, Brett Brunson (Mackenzie) and Laurin Willey (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Bode and Chase Brunson.
