It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Taylor of Columbus, Indiana, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Russell Taylor to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eary Paul and Carrie M. Burris Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Gloria J. Simmons; his children, Shari Christman (Bob) of Columbus, Daron Taylor (Debbi) of Naperville, IL and Ryan Taylor (Angela) of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Allison Deckard (Levi), Dan Christman, Kate Augustyn (Kevin), Hudson Taylor, Elise Taylor, Josiah Taylor and Micah Taylor; and his siblings, Donnie Taylor (Kristina) of Brown County, Steve Taylor (Charlene) of Columbus, Joyce Gillaspy (Ken) of Crothersville and Lois Johnson (Jay) of Columbus. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

We do ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines inside the funeral home and masks are required.

Memorial contributions may be made to Clarity Care Center or Bible Church of Columbus-Missions Fund.
