She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Axsom and Lou Eva Mercer Axsom; and her siblings, Don Axsom and Sue Huffman. She is survived by : her husband Rick J. Lucas; her children, Darren Lucas of Columbus, IN and Stacie Tate (Clint) of Houston, TX; her brothers, Danny Axsom (Jodi) of Batesville, IN and David Axsom (Vicki) of Columbus, IN; and her grandchildren, Anna Tate, Sophia Tate, Joseph Tate, Mary Margaret Tate, Michaela Landis and Kaitlyn Landis.
