He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dempsey Johns and Jean Marie Fox Johns; his sister Susan Marie Perry; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Hill, Margaret Irene Johns, Robert Wayne Perry, Jonathan Leroy Hoover and Chuck Sherfick.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Hill Johns of Columbus; his sons, Zachery Ray Johns (Christa) of Columbus, Isaiah Lee Johns (Cristen Cowan) of Columbus, Jesse Inman Johns (Brooke Spicer) of Columbus and Ethan Dempsey Johns (Lauren) of Columbus; his siblings, Jack E. Johns of Roswell, Terry Lynn Murphy (Donald) of Elizabethtown, Kathy Jo Hoover of Columbus and Robin Ann McCue of Columbus; his mother-in-law Ruby Sherfick; his brothers-in-law, James E. Hill and Mike Sherfick (Sharon); his grandchildren, Hayden, Owen, Cooper, Jax, Jayden, Lila, Hunter, Addison and Avery Johns; and his pets, Rocky, Bella and Muffin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
