We bid farewell to Stephen Alan Coons in Columbus, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 20, 2025 at the age of 80. Stephen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helena Coons Hogg and Charles E. Coons; his uncles, Chloral W. Coons, Cecil R. Coons and Theodore C. Coons; and his aunt Marilouise Coons.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Anderson (Brian) and Todd Coons (Kim Kasting); his grandsons, Max, Reid and Graham Anderson; and his cousins, Jennifer Coons, Craig Coons, Tom Gray, Bill Gray and Ann Gibson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Myers-Reed Chapel (3729 25th St, Columbus, IN 47203).
Memorials may be made in Steve's honor to the following organizations: Heritage Fund, Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, or the Alzheimer's Association.
