He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Samuel Fields and Loney Dee Shirley Fields; his stepmother Ira Mae Fields; his wife Velma Fields; his son Evan Eugene Fields; and his siblings, Dennis Fields, Arlis Fields and Angeline Bragg.
He is survived by: his children, Danny D. Fields (Jennifer) of Columbus, IN, Joyce M. Adams (Jim) of Columbus, IN, Connie S. England (Terry) of Columbus, IN, Gary W. Fields (Patty) of Columbus, IN and Larry D. Fields (Jacqueline) of Columbus, IN; his daughter-in-law Diana Fields of Columbus, IN; his grandchildren, Scott Fields, Kelly Ulreich, Betsy Rhodes, Matt Fields, Natasha Dulong, Danielle Stevens, Jeremy Adams, Chasity Adams, Aleisha Hennsley, Chris England, Brandon Fields, Jeff Fields, Nathan Fields and Thomas Fields; and his brothers, Stanley Fields of Columbus, IN and J. W. McCawley of Columbus, IN.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Evan Fields; mother, Loney Fields; step-mother, Ira Mae Fields; wife, Velma Fields on June 30, 2016; son, Evan Eugene Fields; brothers, Dennis Fields and Arlis Fields; sister, Angeline Bragg THE FAMILY APPRECIATES EVERYONE THAT IS ABLE TO ATTEND BUEL'S SERVICES BUT ARE ASKING EVERYONE, PLEASE WEAR MASKS AT THE FUNERAL HOME AND AT THE CHURCH.
Buel had a passion for music, so the family ask that memorial contributions be made to WYGS to help support the spreading of the gospel or to the Lowell General Baptist Church.
