He is survived by: his son Dillion Michael of North Carolina; his grandson Landyn Andrew Michael; his stepdaughter Kaitlyn Hayes of North Vernon; his brothers, Donnie Michael of Columbus and Richie Michael of Columbus; and his fiancée Connie Hunter of Columbus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
