He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stanley and Thelma Lowe Hankins; and his son Shawn Hankins. He is survived by: his wife Janet R. Hankins of Columbus; his son Shane Hankins (Nancy) of Columbus; his brothers, Marty Hankins of Vevay and Steve Allen of Vevay; his grandchildren, Sawyer Hankins (Kara) of Greenwood, Alexa Friedly (Jake) of Greenwood, Rylee Carlile (Jake) of Columbus, Max and Mason Hankins of Indianapolis; and his stepgrandchildren, Alexa Zeller and Triston Perry of Indianapolis. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
