He was predeceased by: his daughter Charlotte Denny Banda; and his grandson Dale Hubbard. He is survived by: his sons, Dale Denny and Lynn Denny (Melody Lambert). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
