He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Lelia Erfmeier (Schrader); his wife Lois Ann Erfmeier (Legenhause); his father Bill Erfmeier; his brother-in-law Mike Koester; his close friend June Sorrell; his son Shawn (Lori); his grandchildren, Leyton and Spencer; his son Chris (Missi); his grandchild CJ Burton; his great grandchild Elaina; his grandson Jon Erfmeier; his great grandchild Leo; his brother Robert Erfmeier (Bob); his nieces and nephews, Loria, Vince and Curt; his sister-in-law Marilyn Koester (Legenhause); his nephew Jason; and his niece Melissa.

Memorials in Bill's name are suggested to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the American Cancer Society.
