Giacalone, Natalie Roots (Eric) and Elizabeth Schurger (Vincent); his grandchildren, Brandon Bennett (Kaity), Justin Bennett, Kimberly Ruwe (Jake), Amanda Musiel (Kiefer), Kolten Maxwell, Adam Giacalone, Alex Giacalone, Clayton Roots (Hallie), Caleb Roots, Benjamin Roots (Madison), Annika Roots, Nolan Robert Roots, Gabriel Schurger, Samuel Schurger and Evelyn Schurger; his siblings, Marge Klein (Richard), Mary Christensen (Brian), Edwin Maxwell (Sharon) and John D. Maxwell (Joan); and his sister-in-law Joyce Maxwell. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
