She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Purcell and Cora Shepard Purcell; her siblings, Ronald "Skip" Purcell, David Purcell, Bruce Purcell, Larry Purcell, Karen Purcell Raines and Emma Aldean Purcell; and her pet George.

She is survived by: her husband Harold Smith (Moses); her sister Chrissy Burgess (Kenny) of Connersville; her daughter Stacy Jenkins (Aaron) of Greenwood, Indiana; her grandchildren, Sierra, Sebastian and Sabrina; her stepchildren, Jamie Smith, Michelle Powell (Tim) of Connersville and Danny Sweeney; her stepgrandson Darik Short of Connersville; and her extended family, Charlie and Carlie Murray. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Animal Shelter in Cindi's memory.
