He was predeceased by: his son Chris Patrick Mitchell; and his brothers, Eugene and Harold Mitchell. He is survived by: his son Gregory Edward Mitchell (Vanessa) of Liberty, Indiana; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Mitchell of Sarasota, Florida; and his granddaughters, Kaitlin, Allianna, Caralina, Emma and Ella Mitchell.
