He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cledis Virgil Harper and Lillian Louise McHenry Harper; his wife Lillian Sue Harper; his children, Melissa "Renee" McKinley of Connersville, Michael Ray Harper of Hamilton and Bryan Pflum (Amy Rose) of Connersville; his grandchildren, Danielle Atkinson (James Fry) of Connersville, Hope Elizabeth Pflum of Connersville and Michael Ray Harper, Jr. of Connersville; his great grandchildren, James of Connersville, Calvin of Connersville and Malachi Fry of Connersville; his sisters, Linda Weaver of Connersville and Carolyn Walcott (David Pardue) of McCordsville, Indiana; and his pets, Hershey and Coco. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in memory of Ray to the VA Fisher House Foundation.
