He was predeceased by: his parents, William Silcott and Ada Smith Silcott; and his siblings, Larry Silcott, Carol Silcott and Jerry Silcott.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Silcott; his children, Angie Boring of Shelbyville, Chris Silcott (Tabby) of Connersville and Julie Sullenbarger of Connersville; his grandchildren, Stefan Diasti (Stephanie) of Houston, Lauren Lingerfelt (Cody) of Waldron, Halle Davis (Coley) of Bluffton, Bryce Boring of Shelbyville, Jade Boring of Shelbyville, Amber Boring of Waldron, Garrett Silcott (Juliette) of Connersville, Grace Garrison (Clay) of Hamilton Heights, Hunter Sullenbarger of Connersville, Colton Sullenbarger of Connersville and Luke Sullenbarger of Connersville; his great grandchildren, Aden Phares, Mabel Lingerfelt, Sienna Diasti, Slate Diasti, Penelope Davis and Deliah Kincade; and his sons-in-law, Tim Boring and Mark Sullenbarger of Connersville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (1704 N Grand Ave, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
