He is survived by: his children, Johnny Messer of Connersville, Michelle McKinney of Rushville, Jennifer Sosh (Wayne) of Hudson, KY and Alicia Brown (Danielle) of Michigan City; and his siblings, Tim Messer (Tyanna) of Rushville, Wayne Messer (Brittany) of Rushville, Billy Messer of Carthage, Beverly Ellis (Johnny) of Bedford, KY and Patricia Ray of North Vernon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
