She was predeceased by: her parents, Atwell Pope and Rosa Banfield Pope; her husband Donald Hofmann; her daughter Judy Ann Hofmann; her sister Evelyn Stanley; and her sons-in-law, Walter "Pete" Stalnaker II and Butch Mudd.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Drake (Sharon Scott), James (Phyllis Mudd), Bruce Hofmann (Lisa) and Nancy Strong (John); and her sister Margaret Hensley. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; many many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Elsie's honor.
