Ginny Ellis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2025, at the age of 101, Ginny Ellis (Connersville, Indiana), born in Mine la Motte, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond LaBrot and Ruth Francis Rhodes LaBrot; her husband Cecil Thomas Ellis; her stepdaughter Beverly Dawn Ellis Fleck; her daughter-in-law LouAnn Harris Ellis; her grandson Wayne Ellis; and her siblings, Harold, Emory, Elmo, Charles, Dorothy, Maxine and Carolyn.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Wayne Ellis (Helen) and Cynthia Ruth Ellis Hopkins (Jack); her grandchildren, Larry Fleck (Lilly), Joelle Fleck (Joe Rogers), Jason Ellis (Claire), Erin Wilhelm (Robert), Nikki Price (Gregg) and Sara Powell (Kevin); her granddaughter-in-law Heidi Ellis; and her sister-in-law Janet Ellis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reflection Church of the Nazarene (296 S Co Rd 300 W, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to JAARS, (jaars.org) an aviation ministry with a connection to her son, or to Reflection Church of the Nazarene to be used for Cecil and Ginny's Playground maintenance, which reflects their love for God and children.
