He is survived by: his wife Dixie Hawkins; his son Anthony; his siblings, Alla Lee Hamilton, Sue Wohlwend (Elem), Grecia Hamilton, Bethel Darlene Lucas, Paul Bowling (Carolyn), David Bowling (Fay), Caleb Bowling (Fran), Philip Bowling (Lisa) and James Micah Bowling (Sheila); his niece Kim Pegg; his daughter Patricia Bowling; his grandson Matthew Bowling; and his siblings, Lorene Rush, Dorcus Bowling, Walter Bowling, Donald Bowling, John D. Bowling and Benjamin Bowling. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
