He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gilbert and Eva Napier Gilbert; and his siblings, Gerald Gilbert and Madeline Ryckman. He is survived by: his wife Sue Gilbert of Connersville; his children, Kim Rosenberger (Kelly) of Manvel and Jim Gilbert Jr. (Monica) of Woodstock, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Maddy Rosenberger (Tanner Ballinger) of Indianapolis and Caleb Rosenberger of Cheyenne, Wyoming. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
