It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe R. Calihan of Connersville, Indiana, who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Coolie Calihan and Versie Calihan (Lewis); and his siblings, Delores Fields, Sadie Wells, Freida Smith, Betty Hofer, Pat Mays, Stanley Calihan, Junior Calihan and Odell Calihan.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Calihan (Reese); his sons, Scott Calihan (Theresa) of Brookville and Shawn Calihan (Terri) of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; his grandchildren, Katelyn Gadzinski (Blake), Tyler Calihan (McKenzie), Cole Calihan, Amber Frank (Zachary) and Crystal Calihan; his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Caroline and Levi; his sister Brenda Ross (Gary) of Cedar Grove; and his pet Sassy.
