He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Mabel Smith; and his sister-in-law Virginia J. Silvers. He is survived by: his spouse Jayma Hunter; his son Blake Smith; his grandchildren, Mason and Olivia; and his siblings, Chris Smith, Phyllis Dice (Butch) and Marsha Knight (Jerry). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any of the following organizations: American Heart Assoc., St. Jude's, House of Ruth, Bev Jobe House of Love, or the Shelter Inc., in Laurence's honor.
