She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Johnson and Lucy Cregar Johnson; and her brother Bob Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Rea Sr.; her children, Melinda Dunaway (Randell) of Everton, Betsy Ruff (Anthony) of Connersville, Jenny Rea (Latisha) of Connersville and Gilbert Rea Jr. (Sandy) of Connersville; her grandchildren, Cody Rea (Kate), Shayna Eldridge, Celena Rea, Kaleb Ruff, Craig Eldridge (Ashleigh), Jakub Rea and Ky Thompson; and her brother Bill Johnson (Terri). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (1704 N Grand Ave, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
