We are sad to announce that, on February 3, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Marjorie Sue Gabbard of Connersville, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Wathen and Lillie Lakes Wathen; her spouse Avery Gabbard; her son Charles Avery Gabbard; and her siblings, Ralph Powell, Bernie Wathen Powell, Patricia Moore and Ruby Jane Isaacs.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Lemen; her granddaughter Averill Sue Lemen Mains (Randall); her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Aiden Mains; her sister Linda Mays (Richard); and her nephew Rick Gill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Fayette County Animal Shelter.
